Wise is the person who cultivates an abiding sense of gratitude for that which coheres with truth. This habit is best formed by giving specific and regular thanks for those things in thought, word, and deed.
Such a person sees what is wrong with the world, but does not dwell upon its shortcomings and sees what is right in the world, and magnifies those elements. Such a person knows that it is far more productive to rally in support of truth, beauty, and courage than it is to rail against lies, ugliness, and cowardice.
