I gaze into the candlelight
Which like my soul burns bright tonight
Though Stygian coolness enshrouds my house
I am undimmed, my zeal not doused.

It doesn’t matter what is happening around us, the important thing is what we do. Dimmed zeal for life is always a tragedy, and is a big indicator that we need to re-up our commitment to living an uncommon life.
