Hear Me Well by Gregg Hake
Evil spirits, hear me well:
You’ve come to cast your evil spell,
But in my house you shan’t prevail
I’ve weighed my heart and checked the scale.
A feather tipped the ‘posing tray
My heart is light and pure today
You seek my friends, to run them through
But hear me well, I’m done with you.
Life can be lived absent of thee
Greed and fear and enmity.
Love your poetry! Looking foward to reading these in your first poetry anthology. Thanks for sharing!

Your elegant and powerful words remind me of one of my favorite verses in the Psalms:
I will walk within my house with a perfect heart. Thanks Gregg

Things change very quickly when you take a stand and say “I will accept this no longer”. When people begin to realize that you actually can be rid of these spirits, having them and their expressions gone permanently, we can begin to have the type of world that we are meant to live in.

Your resolve is contagious. This is a command I can issue forth to my own capacities of body, mind and spirit. Evil shall not prevail here! You automatically feel the strength of just saying or thinking those words. You’ve emphasized many times that our thoughts and attitudes have influence. These words remind us to stay in control and not give in to that which would only bring us down. Thanks so much Gregg.

Your words act as a lighthouse in the darkness, the radiance of what you constantly provide touches the hearts of many and has already made the world a better place. It is evidence of what we are all capable of in some capacity or another, giving hope, wisdom and courage to each of us! Creativity, prose, and a life filled with purpose is an inheritance meant for all. Thanks for sharing the results of your efforts to connect to your own internal source!!

LOUD and CLEAR
Your words resound,
Clearing the way, that path be found
Poised and free of tepid state
Armed and ready, we patiently await
Oh Generous day of Glory, Courage and Grace
Toward the Sun incline thy face
Heart on fire, mind at bay
Here am I, this glorious day.
