“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven…” – Ecclesiastes 3:1
If you’ve lived for any amount of time you’ve probably noticed that it is said that “timing is everything” for a good reason. Everything works out in a cycle. Those cycles are partly under our control, but the majority of them are beyond our influence, and in many cases, direct cognition.
Even though we cannot see many of the invisible forces working, we can see their effect. Like a gust of wind that rushes across the surface of a lake, you know you’ll feel it, even if you cannot see it. So it is with the many invisible influences at work all around us.
Some influences will never be seen, no matter how clear our perception. That said, there are two primary causes of the deadening of your ability to sense those that can be perceived: a prejudiced mind and a troubled heart.
My entire aim in this blog is to provide you with the tools necessary to face all that comes your way with an untroubled heart and a keen mind. With both in place, you can articulate your thoughts, harmonize your words and dovetail your deeds with these invisible yet all important impulses. With both in place, you’ll never again feel victimized by the world around you or thrashed about by forces you neither see nor comprehend.
Purpose and timing are woven together by an invisible hand and your opportunity, should you choose to accept it, is to discover how to move gracefully, steadily and seasonably toward the revelation and fulfillment of your life purpose.
