What is true of truth?
Truth is never spoken out of both sides of one’s mouth, neither is it murmured under one’s breath. Truth has but one face.
Truth never belittles, dissembles, or schemes. Truth does not paint itself in a certain light; truth is light.
Truth needs no defense, neither does it require justifications, footnotes, addenda, or fine print. Truth is always simple and clarifying.
Truth is likewise always beautiful. It’s beauty does not imprison; the beauty of truth liberates.
Truth is all this and much, much more.

May the Truth set me free that those I serve may see the light of it.
May it wash my heart clean, and lift up my consciousness of right.
The Truth is, it has many times, but I call and look to it deeply once more.
For my knowledge of its liberating power, and beauty, is steady and sure.
