    This small line has the capacity to change lives. Like a fork in the road, the decision to forgive will take you off the path of self-destruction that is the inevitable end to the unforgiving.

    Simple but so profound! It’s hard to imagine that anyone could not benefit from daily meditation on this vital subject. There can be no clear starting points while our hearts are cluttered with the judgmental residues of the past.

    To forgive does release one from self imposed bonds and restrictions and allows one to soar to the heights of living for which they (we) are designed to do. Personally I also think that it is one of the more significant forms of taking personal responsibility for our lives.

    I think with the passing of Nelson Mandela it has highlighted the cleansing freedom of forgiveness. I appreciate your emphasis on it’s value. It is the antidote to cruelty.
