Squinting at the darkness,
I strain to feel the forms
Yet shapeless, indefinite-
Wafting like the morning brume,
Swept up by the sun.
My hearts hearkens
As heaven whispers-
Of moments soon to come.

I know this experience well! Those precious moments between sleep and fully awake, my mind is quiet, my heart is open and I’m listening for the impulses of Heaven. Beautiful poem. A treasure!
