Dear man harbored in purpose heaven-sent
Is not disturbed by trifles earthen-bent
For thus arrayed his heart is rendered pure
And is compelled by impulse true and sure.

I know for a fact that for myself, there is nothing stronger that I could ever have than a sense of purpose. Purpose allows me to believe, and when I believe, I know I can do anything I set my heart out to. What’s mine to see through in all this is to be a good lord of my heart, for a heart pure is a heart that can receive and protect something worthwhile and noble.
No doubt there are so many asphyxiating ties in the world today, ties that will serve only to render the beautiful spark impotent if one doesn’t continually rise to the occasion. How many shining stars must we all see go down before we realize it takes one heck of a commitment to stand tall with integrity, true to purpose, true and sure?

To be compelled by impulse true and sure… wow! What kind of lives would we lead and what type of world would we create? Your words touched me deeply, thank you.
