A Light is Still a Light

A light is still a light – even though the blind man cannot see it. – Austrian Proverb

If you are truly engaged in the radiant expression of truth and beauty, you needn’t worry about how it is being received. You need simply to press on, to continue giving freely, that others might be inspired to do the same.

The expression of truth is its own reward; the giver is blessed as the blessing moves from above to below and from within, outward.

I think this is something that needs to be refreshed daily for those who are looking to express the truth. Unfortunately in the world there are those who are threatened by expression of the truth, and they will try to discourage you at every turn. Those that are able to keep their countenance up and their blessings moving outward are the ones that will be able to stay through the long haul, as there are no shortage of naysayers. Fortunately, whether they exist or their numbers are irrelevant. The only thing that matters is that we keep doing what we should be doing.

Thanks so much Gregg for these daily posts. I personally feel privileged to have found your blog. It serves to point people in the right direction and remind us that we make choices all the time that take us either forwards or backwards. Each person is responsible for the level of maturity they express although few recognize that fact. It certainly took me awhile to figure out that I had to do something about my own areas of immaturity. No one else can do it for you. It’s beautiful to see someone handle the situations they encounter artfully, with grace, and maturity. It has an impact and if more of us let that be our concern, the state of our world would reflect that. This blog serves as a light for those who are interested in taking responsibility and I don’t take it for granted.

If you have to be liked, accepted or one of the gang you’ll have a life of compromising the fulfillment of your purpose. Your purpose will then become seeking the approval of those that are at odds with their own true purpose. Friends and associates living in concert as those expressing unabashed radiance, find a harmony of shared purpose that utilizes each persons unique life as a thread in a tapestry. Each thread is fine and elegant but the tapestry reveals a work of exquisite artistry no single thread could create!

Beautiful consideration Gregg, thank you. You just articulated what it really means to give without concern for results. Any supposed giving that isn’t characterized by what you are suggesting is in fact self centeredness . A full comprehension of what you outlined today can change one’s whole life expression and experience.
