It is a blessing to be able to look back at the time we had with our fathers and feel pride about the way they taught us the lessons that needed to be learned. Not everyone has that nowadays, nor in times past. Look back on those times and be glad, because the lessons learned took us to where we are right now.

Your poem touched my heart and reminded me of my own dear father. Dignity is that unshakeable knowing that you’re worthy. I’m sure your dad looks on you as evidence of that.

    Gregg.
You are an artist of words. You provoked an imagery of love and respect for your father and took me to a place when I sat by my father’s side… thinking the same thoughts.
    Thank you!!

Your words bring to mind the father of our being who has endeared us in all of our lives. Good to consider tender and loving thoughts in this regard.

How blessed you are and consequently we are, for your father’s dignity. Just as his dignity has so profoundly impacted the world, so too does ours.

What an honor to be your father. His heart is at rest knowing the world is in a better place because of the legacy he is passing on through you.

Thank you for sharing the depth and power of the love and respect that you have for your dad Gregg. And he must be equally proud of you, his son, and the difference that you are making in the world. Nothing can make a father feel more proud and know that they have made a significant contribution to the betterment of the world than to see it reflected in their children’s living, and I know he sees that in you.
