A simple thought for you this fine morning: dignity is never lost by the will of another; dignity is only lost when surrendered.

I find it interesting to consider the word surrender. Made me think of the word yield also. In looking up the words, yield is defined as: to concede under some degree of pressure but not necessarily to surrender totally. To surrender is defined as: to give up complete possession of. Something to consider this in the light of surrendering to that which is true and surrendering to that which is not true. It leads me on to knowing the difference between yielding to the truth when under pressure or surrendering to the truth as a life choice regardless of circumstance. I appreciate the consideration on what really brings an established expression of dignity.
