Transparency

A lack of transparency results in distrust and a deep sense of insecurity.” – Dalai Lama

Leaving others guessing as to your intentions begs suspicion, doubles doubt, and heightens tensions. Even if your intentions are impure, transparency brings them into the light. And “sunlight,” it was said, “is the best disinfectant.”

Trust and security are the wages of transparency.

  1. I find it eye opening to consider my intentions within myself. As you say letting them come to light lets the sun shine upon them cleansing what needs to be cleansed. As I do so I appreciate the deep rest it brings. It does dissipate the strain of trying to be something other than what I am. It is something to really look at the mixture of intentions that may present within us. For this does cause our house to be divided. Good to let the sun of our attention shine on fears and wants that may bring those conflicting motivations not in kind with the light of love that we are. Good to come to rest in that. Thank you for the consideration.
