There is something to be said about being above it all. By this I do not mean that it is ever a good idea to see everything as being beneath you, but there is value in finding the balance point of being as it was once put, “in the world but not of it.”
To rise to this you must be willing to eschew judgment, forgive injustice, and hold an attitude of appreciation in all things. You must see beyond the limitations in others and refuse to take the bait of complaint, offense, or feeling the victim in any and all situations. You must, simply put, rise above.
Rising above is unique to each of us. Our affirmation of what is true determines our ability to do so. Thank you for the consideration in this day!
