Grace and Dignity

“It has been well said that no man ever sank under the burden of the day. It is when to-morrow’s burden is added to the burden of today that the weight is more than a man can bear.” – George Macdonald

You will never be given more than you – and the spirit of life within you – can overcome with grace and dignity. But beware of the anticipation of triumph and the expectation of failure, for both afflict the senses and lead to foolish decisions. The former leads to arrogance and the latter, to cowardice, both of which are tactless and lowly.
