“Truth”, by Gregg Hake
Her beauty did arrest me
And call me to her arms
And slowly she undressed me
By virtue of her charms
She stripped me of my worries
Then took my fears away
She taught me all that love is
And blessed me every day.

You have a way with words Gregg! Sometimes the truth leaves me feeling that I’ve been stripped bare. It’s the starting point when I yield to it and face it honestly. It has the ability to comfort and soothe when I rest in it and provides strength and courage to meet the things that arise in myself that are not aligned with it.
