In the interest of…

That which is done for selfish, individual reasons inevitably diminishes the quality of life. That which is undertaken in the interest of public selfishness, e.g. giving away rights for protection “in the interest of” national security, is likewise doomed to fail.

Liberty derives not from license, but from an orientation in love and an accommodation of truth.

It sounds like a win, win solution to me! How could we ever go wrong orienting in love and accommodating truth. Thanks Gregg for your constant reminder of reality.

It’s tragic to see us giving up our liberty in the name of fear. Tyrants often diminish the ability of love in order to control through fear.
