I’ve long believed that people are inherently optimistic; whether or not that comes out seems to me tied to the very point you are making.

I took up a new hobby and the person most intrigued with the process was an eight year old. The curiosity and enthusiasm of youth is a wonderful reminder that we look through the lens of the heart. The space for compassion and passion start there.
