The Humble Bee by Gregg Hake
The bumblebee’s a humble bee
Despite her magic powers.
She takes with her a hidden key
And flies around for hours.
Though some with nectar draw her near,
Others with pollen woo-
Nature is God’s engineer,
The fit survive, it’s true.
She grabs ahold with her strong jaw
And shakes with all her might.
Once covered up she does withdraw
And once again takes flight.
So with this acoustic dance
She makes her humble ploy.
By give and take she does advance
The food that we enjoy!
I love your poem – thank you so much for sharing it with all of us!
