The Love of Living

Could it be said of you that you truly love to live? If so, then you have mastered the fine art of letting the very depths of your nature find expression in the world around you.

The love of living spiritualizes the commonplace. It is the means by which your personal atmosphere carries the positive charge of blessing, the process by which the invisible is made visible.

The people who have this love of life rarely speak about it; they radiate it. These precious few have learned not to catalog injustices or woes, instead, they release their clutch on past ills and move on.

The love of living is the recognition and the uninhibited acceptance of the magnificent gift of life itself!

Life is a blessing. Viewing the (really) big picture of the whole universe, it is amazing that we are able to interact with what we do in this time and at this place.

People that don’t really have a love of living suffer from a lack of vision. Life is made up of many present moments that are constantly changing opportunities, and while we can take any of them we wish it seems like most of them are missed when it comes down to it. Someone who loves living endeavors to take as many of these opportunities as they can identify.

Life is a gift and I for one appreciate each moment of it more and more regardless of what it brings in any given moment for I have learned that each moment is precious in and of itself. One of the lessons that I, again, learned from Earl Nightingale, is to look at each moment and circumstance with the attitude of “that’s good”! And you know what – it is!

Excellent deduction! The simplicity of pure living could be summed up by pure giving. I believe that radiance emanates from the heart and like light through a prism is refracted by the individuals inherent purpose yet impeded by any distortion that has been created. The distortions are not all our own doing but they still have to be healed or navigated around by us. This to me is where worship and prayer can bring in the vibration of love to assist in a natural recalibration. When I don’t feel that deep appreciation for living I see it as an early warning that I am off kilter in my heart.
