Heart Leaps Up

my Heart Leaps Up When I Behold by William Wordsworth

My heart leaps up when I behold
A rainbow in the sky:
So was it when my life began;
So is it now that I am a man;
So be it when I shall grow old,
Or let me die!
The Child is father of the Man;
I could wish my days to be
Bound each to each by natural piety.

Life is short and I have absolute confidence that you are a remarkable person. Regardless of your past transgressions and the errors of your ways, you have the opportunity to begin today as if it was your first. The only person, place or thing that can hold you back from being you is you.

Let go of regrets, for vain regrets about the past are meaningless. Let go of fear, not by hardening yourself to the shadows, but by perfecting your love for all that is whole, holy and true. Let go of self-concern, not through asceticism, but by means of selfless service.

And live.

    You see joy in the little things when you are living life the way it is supposed to be lived. That is part of life’s beauty, there can be amazement in the day to day as well as in the extraordinary.

    There is our choice each moment, thought or circumstance. Selfless service is giving without implied or a demand for a certain result. Giving, because that is the fulfillment of our design, opens the door for creation that is unimaginable by minds limited by fear. Thank you for this post, most appreciated.
