The more emotionally-charged a statement, phrase, or word is – especially in the negative sense – the less likely it is to be of truth. That said, truth is not devoid of emotion, neither is it cold or heartless. In fact, truth is the body of love.
Truth is free of the barbs, slings, and arrows of mankind’s prejudice and opinion, but this does not mean it is inert or lukewarm. Truth, pure truth, is always infused with the fire of love.
I find confidence/faith is cultivated as our heart and mind are both oriented to what is true. As they are so unified the comfort of the truth brings a depth of love and appreciation. Anything that is not of truth such as mankind’s prejudices and opinions are those things that are actually devoid and puts us on shaky ground.
