“let it go”, a poem by gregg hake
to go to sleep a child at heart,
worry-free, not torn apart,
you must let go of all you’ve kept:
your fears, your doubts, the loss you’ve wept,
your peeves, your piques, the little spites
must be brought into the light.
forgive it all, back to the start;
mercy can then rule your heart.
let it go and then sleep free
in oneness with the almighty.
Thank you for your arresting words. May we all lovingly choose to know the tranquility of them.
