“Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without.” – Buddha
Peace is neither the absence of conflict nor the perfectly feathered nest; it is an active state of abiding in thankfulness for the privilege of being.

Yes, as we are consumed with evermore thankfulness it aligns our soul to be flooded with that which brings peace. Abiding does relate to having a sense of thankfulness in view of even our fears. As we position ourselves in this attitude we can allow our actual life being to bring to rest that which causes our capacities of heart and mind to be disturbed. There is a control that begins to be experienced that our hearts and minds have not been able to find on THEIR OWN. Frustration and discouragement should be signs to us that we are separated from our own being. As we do recognize this thankfulness is the key to returning to alignment and to continue abiding. Our experience more and gets to be seen as our choice.
