Love’s Reward

“Love is love’s reward.” – John Dryden

One of the most deeply satisfying things that can be said at the end of the day is this: “I have loved and I am loved.” When you say this, all the sounds of the rude world heard in the day shrink back into the darkness from whence they came. When you say this, the big, frightening challenges you face are quickly put back into perspective. When you say this, love is given expression on earth in you, though you, and wonder of wonders, unto you.
