How one person can change the world.

Yesterday we considered the fact that a shift in your perspective on life and the circumstances that come your way can make an enormous difference on your experience. We looked at the fact that humanity is intricately interrelated and we acknowledged the fact that no man is an island. How then can you make a difference?

You’ve likely heard about the concept in physics called sympathetic resonance. If not, it’s a fascinating phenomenon worth researching. I found this short video which gives an excellent introduction to the topic:

Every word, every movement and every action that emanates from you has the potential to change the world. Just as with the piano example shown in the video, there will be that which resonates with your expression. It is for this reason that a genuine smile more often than not elicits smiles. Similarly, the same physics explain why misery seeks, and typically finds, company.

Never underestimate your effect on the world. Refuse to offer sympathetic resonance to ill things. Don’t fight fire with fire. Seek instead to inspire at every turn by giving your agreement to that which is fine and noble in others.

Have a wonderful Sunday!

That was so cool! This is such a great example of how one action causes another. It’s also humbling to know how much power we each have and the effect we have on others!

Simple words to live by which may require exercising our attentions. We must tend precisely to the incoming and outgoing, so at the end of the day we are on the side of the fine and noble.
