It is my pleasure to invite you to watch the incredible video posted on my falconry blog, “Hawkheaven.” If you’ve ever watched a bird in flight and wondered what their perspective is like, then you won’t want to miss this video.
Never underestimate the value of a change in perspective. I once had a professor who would trigger shifts in perspective with silly interventions. I recall one class where he made everyone stand on their chairs for 10 minutes and another where he had everyone close their eyes for half of the class. The change in perspective afforded by those simple changes was notable at the time and memorable to this day.
Remember this: letting your view of the world around you become stale or static is unnecessary and unfortunate. The world and those you associate with are constantly changing. Be open and willing to see what you’ve seen a million times – whether person, place or thing – in a new light, starting now.

Thanks so much Gregg! I think the call to look at our worlds in a new light is so important. I can see even relative to my children how I could inadvertantly keep holding them to a lower standard by not seeing them from a new perspectives as they mature and grow! Thanks for sharing!

What a thrill ride! It’s amazing how they can dodge those branches and trees in the woods.
