“Love’s Call”, a Haiku by Gregg Hake

Stop! Listen through
The ceaseless noise of culture—
Do you hear love’s call?

I’ve really appreciated your Haikus Gregg. This one in particular packs a wallop for me. Stop. Listen. Hear love’s call.

This weekend, for me, has been a time of rest and reflection. I read back over your thoughts on sincerity from last week and reflected upon what my own daily choices confirm. Over the last little while, “the ceaseless noise of culture” has taken up much of my thoughts and time. It’s so important to keep a balance and take time every day to rest and reflect. It’s easy to get caught up in the busyness of business or all the stuff on your personal “to do” list. The most important thing is the expression of love to my world and those in it. I hear that call.

  2. Pondering the herd
    And be conflicted or list
    To the winds of calling.

    Fret not of doubts herd
Listen to the call of love
    You hear, be yourSelf.

    YourSelf is of love
    Love loves upward and below
    Grace upon all.
