All my life my critics in their more desperate moments have maligned me for my general mirth; the same have complained about the generally joyful atmosphere which permeates most of that which is under my care. To any critic thus disposed I say “lighten up, live a little.”

This is one of those choices that each of us have, and like all of our other choices there are ripple effects. Your choice (and mine also) to bring genuine happiness and joy into each endeavor not only creates a happy atmosphere but enables people to do more and to do more effectively as well. That allows for a joyous experience for all, and that is something that we would all desire isn’t it!

The ability to bring joy into any situation is something to be admired, not condemned. The wonder and beauty of life surrounds us every day if we have the eyes to see it. What’s the benefit of taking everything so serious anyway!?
